Spring Sorbets

SERVES 6 Persons  PREPARATION TIME 20 min. 

INGREDIENTS

STRAWBERRY AND BANANA SORBET:

  • 400g strawberries
  • 200g banana, peeled
  • 40g icing sugar or stevia icing mix

MANGO AND PINEAPPLE SORBET:

  • 300g mango, peeled
  • 300g pineapple, peeled
  • 60g icing sugar or stevia icing mix

RASPBERRY AND PEACH SORBET:

  • 250g raspberries
  • 350g peach, peeled
  • 60g icing sugar or stevia icing mix

ORANGE AND LIME SORBET:

  • 600g oranges, peel and separate segments
  • 60g icing sugar or stevia icing mix
  • 2 tsp lime juice

METHOD

  1. Choose a sorbet option/s.
  2. Dice the fruit into small cubes. Place into a FreezerKeeper Large Low; freeze for at least 8 hours.

For the strawberry and banana sorbet: remove the fruit from the freezer and allow to stand for 15 minutes. Add icing sugar (or stevia); mix using the TupperChef™ Spatula Medium until combined. Prepare the sorbet using the Fusion Master Sorbet Maker *.

For the mango and pineapple sorbet: remove the fruit from the freezer and allow to stand for 15-20 minutes. Add icing sugar (or stevia); mix using the TupperChef Spatula Medium until combined. Prepare the sorbet using the Fusion Master Sorbet Maker *.

For the raspberry and peach sorbet: remove the fruit from the freezer and allow to stand for 10-15 minutes.  Add icing sugar (or stevia); mix using the TupperChef Spatula Medium until combined. Prepare the sorbet using the Fusion Master Sorbet Maker *.

For the orange and lime sorbet: remove the fruit from the freezer and allow to stand for 15 minutes.  Add icing sugar (or stevia) and lime juice; mix using the TupperChef Spatula Medium. Prepare the sorbet using the Fusion Master Sorbet Maker *.

For the avocado sorbet: remove the avocado from the freezer and allow to stand for 15 minutes.  Add chilli flakes (or cayenne pepper), salt and lime juice; mix using the TupperChef Spatula Medium. Prepare the sorbet using the Fusion Master Sorbet Maker *.  Serve with corn chips.

AVOCADO SORBET:

  • 400g avocado, peeled
  • Pinch of chilli flakes (or cayenne pepper)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • Corn chips, to serve
