New year, new me. It’s time to switch to eco friendly products. If you’re like me and want to make a change and reduce your carbon footprint this year, then it’s not too late! Switching to sustainable alternatives of every day products can make a huge difference on the environment. There are so many benefits of using eco friendly products. Not only do they last for years, but they are multifunctional, helping you get more bang for your buck!

Reduce your plastic consumption by bringing your own Tupperware...everywhere. It's a simple way to make a difference and it's even easier than you might think. You may already have everyday items in your home that will help you get there quicker.

Here’s a list of some excellent Australian eco friendly products:

1. Trolley Bags

One of my all-time favourite sustainable products are the Tupperware Trolley Bags. Goodbye plastic, hello reusable and durable shopping bags! These bags are my go-to when I’m doing a supermarket shop. The set is designed to fit any standard supermarket trolley! Simply hook onto the trolley, fan out the bags and get shopping. They are strong and durable, perfect for frequent use and heavy items, with the largest bag holding up to 10kg and the smallest bag, up to 8kg. The bright colours make categorizing your shopping so much easier, especially the pink bag which is insulated for refrigerated items.

2. Grocery Reusable Bags

Level up your eco friendly supermarket shop by using Tupperware’s Grocery Reusable Bags. Ditch the plastic bags and use these for all your fruit and veggies. They are easily washable and dry quickly making them the perfect reusable bag. They come in three different sizes with cord locks to keep the bags closed, so no more loose produce rolling around and getting squished.

3. VentSmart Organisers Set

It’s time to unpack your fresh produce! The VentSmart Organiser Set is the perfect way to store your fruit and vegetables for longer. Reduce wastage with this innovative product that prolongs the lifespan of your fresh produce with its own unique venting system. You can even bring them along to the shops with you to minimise the need for single use plastics! Not to mention, they also help keep your fridge organised!

4. Recycled Microfibre Towels

I can't get enough of products that use sustainable materials. Tupperware has released a range of Recycled Microfibre towels. Firstly, these microfibre towels aren’t just like any regular microfibre towel. They are designed using 80% recycled fibres and are incredibly absorbent. There is no need for paper towels when you have these. Due to their incredible cleaning techniques they also reduce the need for surface chemicals. Just use water! Saving the planet one recycled Microfibre towel at a time!

5. Gen II Eco Bottle with a Straw

Choose reusable over disposable and stay hydrated with the Gen II Eco Bottle with Straw. This is my all time favourite water bottle, wherever I go Gen II comes with me. The detachable straw makes it super easy to clean and the secure flip cap lid makes leakage almost impossible. The bottle is 750ml and lightweight, making it an excellent reusable bottle.

Leading A More Sustainable Life: Beyond The Switch To Eco-Friendly Products

Maintaining a sustainable lifestyle goes beyond just switching your products. If you’re really serious about having a positive impact on the environment think about moving to sustainable and eco friendly cleaning products which are plant based and are grey water and septic safe. Reduce your energy usage by having shorter showers and wash your clothes on cold. If you really want to go green, you can even start growing your own herbs and vegetables! Moral of the story is, there is SO much you can do to reduce your carbon footprint and it doesn’t matter where or how you start, it’s the little things that count!
